The bioimpedence body composition assessment can be used to assess the breakdown of your total weight providing valuable insights to your overall health goals.

What is bioimpedence analysis?

Bioimpedence is a non invasive, safe, radiation free, low cost assessment. It uses a weak electric current that flows through the body where the voltage is measured in order to calculate impedance (resistance and reactance) of the body.

What does it measure?

Wanting to assess if they are achieving their fitness and strength goals as the machine offers segmentation data and a break down between muscle composition.

The assessment covers muscle quality and percentage, an important consideration with healthy ageing. It also covers total bone density that can be used as part of a holistic view of total bone health. It also assesses hydration levels which can decline due to insufficient intake and medication use.
