Frequently asked Questions
How to prepare for your first appointment
After booking, you will receive a link to a short online questionnaire form to fill out. Please complete this before your appointment. Bring along any relevant test results or scans you wish to discuss.
Are consultations covered by Health Insurance
A recent recommendation has been made by Chief Medical Officer Professor Michael Kidd to restore Naturopathy as a modality for coverage under private health following a review by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC). This may take some time to take effect so please check with your fund on if they are now issuing rebates for Naturopathy.
Can I see you if I am taking any medications or working with another practitioner
You certainly can. We work in an integrative approach with your other practitioners to help you to achieve the best health outcomes. Sometimes a multidisciplinary approach is the most effective.
As deemed appropriate, we can arrange to provide correspondence and updates on your treatment and progress with any other healthcare professional with your consent.
Do you work with children
Absolutely! Just like adults, our services cater to the unique needs of children, and we are delighted to work with them in the clinic. I myself am a mother to two young children with a personal understanding of how to interact with children effectively. We create a comfortable and nurturing environment for young ones, ensuring that they feel at ease during our sessions.
How often will I need to see you
During the initial consultation, we will develop a treatment plan and health roadmap based on your individual circumstances. That said, most clients tend to have follow up sessions once a month until their presenting concerns are under control.
How can I make payment on the day?
We accept prepayment online or EFTPOS, Credit Card and exact cash in the clinic. Online clients can make payment via Electronic Funds Transfer or Stripe.
